A Poughkeepsie man convicted of a gunpoint robbery is heading back to prison.

The Orange County district attorney says 56-year-old Hans Altidor was sentenced to 20 years behind bars.

Prosecutors say that last July, Altidor went into a gas station on Route 9W in the town of Newburgh, fired a pistol and stole $1,400.

This is his third robbery sentence.
