A man was shot three times near 1872 Monroe Ave. Wednesday afternoon.
The 46-year-old victim was struck in the hip, abdomen and leg around 2 p.m.
Police say they are seeking a man in his 20s who was wearing all black clothing at the time of the shooting. The incident may have been a botched robbery.
The victim is in stable condition at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
