A man was stabbed and another was taken into police custody Wednesday, police confirmed.
The incident happened on Prospect Avenue near East 164th Street around 8:15 a.m. in Morrisania.
He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The victim's mother says she already lost one son to a murder and another child of hers also died.
Police did not say if the suspect was connected to the stabbing.
