Police say that a man was stabbed at the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium station.

The incident happened around 8:20 p.m. when the 42-year-old man got into an argument with three other men. He was stabbed on the left side of the abdomen.

The three men ran from the scene aboard a northbound “4” train.

Meanwhile, the victim was taken by EMS to NYC Health+Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

Hours before the stabbing, there was a game between the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals at Yankee Stadium.
