A man was fatally struck by a car early Friday on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx, police say.
A 47-year-old man was driving a Chevy suburban southbound on the Major Deegan Expressway at around 5 a.m. when he struck another man, according to the NYPD.
The driver remained at the scene, police said.
EMS responded to the scene after a 911 call and pronounced the person dead on the scene.
