Man wanted for violently robbing teen at Kingsbridge Road subway station

The robbery happened just after 6 p.m. Sunday on the southbound B/D train platform, according to the NYPD.

Police are looking for a man wanted for violently robbing a 17-year-old boy at the Kingsbridge Road subway station.

The robbery happened just after 6 p.m. Sunday on the southbound B/D train platform, according to the NYPD.

The man shouted at the teen, punched him multiple times in the face and removed his lanyard containing his student ID and an OMNY card.

Police say EMS took the 17-year-old to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln to be treated for injuries to his eyes, nose and head. He is expected to recover.

The man ran from the scene and exited the station, traveling in an unknown direction, according to the NYPD.

Police ask anyone with information to call their Crime Stoppers tip line.
