Manhattan College said classes are suspended for Tuesday, March 10, and will resume online Wednesday, March 11. The school says all classes will continue to meet online during the week of March 23, after their scheduled undergraduate spring break.
The school also says a decision will be made during that week as to whether it will resume face-to-face classes during the week of March 30.
All divisions at Horace Mann School will be closed until March 31 due to the COVID-19 virus. The school said it decided to close out of an abundance of caution over a student with secondary contact with people also being tested for COVID-19, one of whom they say is believed to have COVID-19.
The school says that since the results of the testing will not be available until Wednesday evening, the school chose to close.
The school said employees will report as directed by the head of the school.
