Marlboro Houses tenant says nor’easter worsened water leak issue

A NYCHA tenant at the Marlboro Houses says water damage in her bathroom has been exacerbated by the October nor’easter.
Mary Rodriguez believes pooling water from the top of the building is leaking behind her walls. She says she called NYCHA about a mold issue just last month.
News 12 was inside her apartment on Tuesday and could hear water leaking behind her bathroom wall.
Rodriguez says she was told by NYCHA that a crew was coming to inspect the issue.
News 12 reached out to NYCHA for a statement and they responded saying, "NYCHA has dispatched skilled trades staff to make the necessary repair and prevent water from entering this resident’s apartment."
