A massive thunderstorm in Brooklyn left behind fallen trees and property damage Monday.
A large cleanup effort was seen at the corner of Avenue T and East 22nd Street in Midwood.
Residents say their power went out after a few large tree branches took down some of their power lines.
Police tell News 12 they received dozens of calls about fallen trees in the neighborhood.
"I pushed the kids to the back and told them to go to the basement to make sure they are OK. I shut off all the electricity,” said resident Eli Sakkel.
First responders tell News 12 one person was rushed to the hospital.
