Massive tree knocks down scaffolding, blocked road in Wakefield

Officials say no cars or people were in the path of the fallen tree.

A tree blocked a street in Wakefield following Sunday night's storm.

The massive tree that blocked East 228th Street and Bronx Boulevard was just some of the damages from the storm. The took down a portion of scaffolding in the area.

NYPD's Emergency Service Unit picked up the debris that blocked the street.

Officials say no cars or people were in the path of the fallen tree.

City officials urge residents to call 311 if they see any downed trees or power lines.
