Mayor Adams, NYCEM to deploy emergency managers to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Fiona

Mayor Eric Adams announced today an additional team of New York City employees will deploy to Puerto Rico and assist officials on the island following the damage done by Hurricane Fiona.

Mayor Eric Adams announced today an additional team of New York City employees will deploy to Puerto Rico and assist officials on the island following the damage done by Hurricane Fiona.
The New York team is said to join representatives from the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency, the Federal Emergency Management Administration and other emergency responders to assess damages.
NYCEM say it will continue to the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean countries, and that the city stands ready to provide additional aid.
