Mayor Adams, school officials unveil roadmap for healthier eating in public NYC schools

Mayor Adams says that through comprehensive food education, students can build an understanding of the role food plays in their lives.

Mayor Eric Adams revealed a roadmap Tuesday that he says will give students the tools to improve healthier eating in public schools across all five boroughs.
The comprehensive plan includes an expansion of the school cafeteria experience with fun, informative initiatives like Plant-powered Fridays.
Mayor Adams says that through comprehensive food education, students can build an understanding of the role food plays in relationships, history and the environment.
