  • McDonald’s is partnering with the White House to promote the coronavirus vaccine. The fast food chain is redesigning its coffee cups to feature the slogan “We can do this,” with the website for vaccine information. The effort comes as the country is starting to have more vaccine supply than demand.
  • Instacart is accused of favoring its higher-level employees. The grocery delivery service has asked junior level employees to return to the office a few days a week while it allows managers and senior employees to work from home. Instacart says the lower-level workers handle sensitive information that is better managed onsite.
  • Softbank reported quarterly earnings overseas Tuesday. The company reports the highest annual profit for a Japanese company on record equivalent to around $46 billion. Softbank attributing its success to an investment gain from their vision fund whose portfolio companies have been part of the recent listing craze. The earnings puts Softbank in the same league as tech giants Alphabet, Microsoft and Google
