FDNY was on the scene of a fire at a meat shop on Westchester Avenue in Soundview early Wednesday morning.
Reports of smoke and fire at a one-story commercial building came in before 6 a.m.
Citizen video showed firetrucks outside of the strip of businesses and FDNY personnel cutting through a gate.
Twelve units and 60 fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene. There is no reports of injuries.
The fire was under control by 6:30 a.m. and the cause is under investigation
