Some Bronx residents are voicing concern over a nearly $200 million development plan near the Harlem River.
A meeting was held Thursday to explain what the city's Economic Development Corporation is planning to do with the property near the waterfront.
At the meeting, some residents said they are concerned the local green space has already been reduced after the new Yankee Stadium went up.
They EDC says the development will possibly be a 40 floor high-rise structure for what would be considered affordable housing.
The project will also include ideas for safe access to a nearby waterway as well as a new park.
