A tenant at 1111 East 15th St. in Midwood says the building’s super will not fix her broken ceiling and walls.
Mikhail Solovyev, the tenant’s grandson, told News 12 that countless calls have been made to the super of the building.
He believes that the debris from the broken walls and ceiling are contributing to his grandmother’s asthma.
“Nobody really knows what kind of vapors are coming out of there. My grandma's just breathing this the whole day. She had a piece fall on her when she was sleeping,” he said.
NYCHA provided the following statement to News 12:
"NYCHA notified the owner of the failed inspection and the subsidy was subsequently suspended as we did not receive proof of repairs."
