It's a mild, but gloomy start this morning. Fog is widespread until at least noon and winds will be calm. Visibility will improve this afternoon when the wind picks up. A few showers are expected this afternoon, otherwise, it's mild and gray with overcast conditions and temperatures in the 50s.
A breezy south wind increases throughout the morning. This afternoon winds will be steady at 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. The wind subsides overnight tonight as the chance for rain increases.
Storm Watch Tonight & Monday Morning
Heavy rain is possible after 7 p.m. this evening, with the worst conditions arriving overnight. While a few rumbles of thunder are expected, the primary concern will be localized flooding caused by heavy downpours. A few storms could bring up to an inch of rain and create ponding on the roads for the Monday morning commute.
Steady showers are expected all morning on Monday which will likely slow down the morning commute, especially in spots where heavy rain develops overnight. Watch for flooded roads in the usual trouble spots. Lingering showers are possible through Monday afternoon, but conditions gradually improve.
A beautiful stretch!
The weather looks very pleasant on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect more sunshine and highs near 60. Most of Thursday also looks nice with increasing clouds and temperatures in the 50s, which is still warmer than the average this time of the year.
The next storm
Showers are expected Thursday night into Friday morning. This cold front will drop temperatures into the 40s with windy weather Friday afternoon and could drop temperatures down to the freezing mark for Saturday morning. The temperature should rebound for the rest of next weekend with dry weather.
