While Tuesday kicked off the start of November, one part of Montefiore Medical Center was still feeling the Halloween spirit, as kids with diabetes and their parents got to take part in the fun. 

Health care workers at Montefiore invited all of their patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes to bring in their trick-or-treating candy in exchange for a toy or gift card. 

Beyond giving the kids one more change to break out their Halloween costumes, both the parents and their children got plenty of valuable information from health officials on site.
