26ds agoA mother of four has given her son a new lease on life by donating her kidney.
With just days before Mother's Day, the Kudowitz family says they have so much more to celebrate, especially after mom Laura's selfless act of love.
The mom of four said they never second guessed the decision to donate a kidney to their 7-year old son Paul, who was born with chronic kidney disease.
The Kudowitz family said Paul has already had seven surgeries.
“We found out about Paul's condition in utero, and it was something we had to prepare for and we knew that there was going to be a chance that one day he would need a kidney transplant,” said Kudowitz.
Laura Kudowitz donated her kidney to Paul last October.
