A Bronx sports shop owner says his family has owned and operated the Mount Hope location for nearly 100 years.

Frank's Sports Shop on E. Tremont Avenue in the Bronx is only a short distance from Yankee Stadium and that's part of the reason Moe Stein credits his success.

“We’re right up the road. Where else are they going to go?” Stein jokes.  

But he also says it has a lot to do with who they’re selling to and what kinds of products they are selling that defines his family’s 96-year runoff success.

Stein says he has sold professional sports gear to every Major League Baseball team over the years.

His father first opened the store in the 1922 and Stein took over the business shortly after.

He says he doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.
