An MTA employee was assaulted on the 6 train.
Police sources say the employee got into an altercation with an individual while in transit just after 2 a.m. on Thursday. When the train arrived at the 138th Street and Third Avenue stop, two officers tried to remove the individual from the train. That was when police say the individual also got into a fight with the officers.
The individual was taken into custody. The officers sustained minor injuries while the MTA employee was not injured. All three were taken to NYC Health+Hospitals to be evaluated.
