Two officers were injured after a bullet struck their marked car late Saturday.
The incident happened in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx just before midnight.
News 12 is told one officer sustained injuries after glass shattered in his face and the other from ringing in his ear.
Another officer was also wounded after a lit firework was thrown into his car in the Bed-Stuy section of Brooklyn.
That incident took place after 10:30 p.m. Saturday near Gates and Stuyvesant Avenue.
That officer was treated for a minor burn and a laceration to the hand.
The Police Benevolence Associate wrote on Twitter to say that the actions are "unacceptable." They also say a suspect in a separate incident pointed a gun at officers in Queens on Saturday
Police say all officers are expected to be OK.
News 12 is told no arrests have been made in either of the cases and the investigation is ongoing.
