#N12BX: McCain says Trump not invited to funeral
Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) does not want President Donald Trump to attend his funeral service, according to a report in the New York Times.
On Saturday the Times reported that friends visiting the senator at his home in Phoenix say he told them it was his wish.
Trump and McCain have not exactly seen eye to eye.
When asked about his feelings toward McCain during an on-stage interview at the 2015 Family Leadership Summit, Trump told the crowd, "He's not a war hero. He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured."
During the interview Trump admitted he also raised over $1 million for McCain's 2008 presidential campaign but became bitter after McCain lost.
McCain recently had surgery after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
Friends and family have been visiting him at his Phoenix, Arizona, home all week.
