New York state says by 2035, diesel-fueled school buses will no longer be on the roads.

Nice Bus in Greenpoint is hopping on the trend early to maximize the environmental effects and second-hand benefits.

NYCS currently has three electric buses in use and is hoping to have 25 more by September.

As the electric buses become more common, the Nice Bus is working to perfect the lifespan of the battery and challenges it poses when in extreme heat or cold.
