As daily COVID cases rise due to the more infectious delta variant, the city continues its efforts to get more New Yorkers vaccinated.
Mobile sites are looking to bring the vaccines right to the community, no appointments necessary. One was set up outside of Lehman College on Thursday, hosted by the New York City Health + Hospitals.
This is a part of a citywide effort to boost the city's vaccination rates, specifically targeting the areas where they're the lowest.
Health officials say that more people getting the shot might be the only way to turn that trend around.
Anyone who gets vaccinated at a city-run site like this today's will receive a $100 cash card.
