New Yorkers took to the streets Friday following the Supreme Court's historic decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
A rally began in Union Square, coordinated by the National Mobilization for Reproductive Justice but with many other advocacy groups participating.
Beyond these organizations, everyday New Yorkers are participating in the rally, saying they felt compelled to take action.
While elected officials have made it clear that abortion will remain legal in New York, those at the rally have concerns for other states' abortion rights and if other rights are at stake following this ruling.
