Police say a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and is now in critical condition.
The incident happened around 9:45 p.m. Officers received a 911 call for an assault in progress at 586 E 179th St. in Tremont. They found the man with a stab wound to the chest.
EMS took the victim to SBH Health System.
Police say they are still looking into possible suspects and a motive.
