News 12 New Jersey reporter Jim Murdoch and photojournalist Ryan Beckman were reporting on the flooding when they saw an elderly couple get caught on Route 35 in Point Plesant Beach due to flooding. They called the police and were able to help get the couple to safety.
No one was hurt.
