News 12's Geno Gonnello was on the hunt for the best slice of pizza on Long Island in honor of National Pizza Day.

Eventually, he made it over to Phil's in Syosset, where the owner says they offer a wide range of different pizzas.

"We have like 40 different varieties," says Phil's owner Anthony Laurino. "We have big portions on our dinners. We make a lot of different stuff from mac and cheese pizza to upside down Sicilian."

Geno then made it over to Di Raimo's Pizzeria in Huntington.

"We have been here 44 years," says Steve Di Raimo, owner of the restaurant. "We have the same guys working for us for a long, long time. We use quality ingredients and we try to keep things simple."

News 12 viewers says some of their favorite pizzerias are Ciro's Pizza of Smithtown, Umberto's New Hyde Park and others.
