A new lawsuit has been filed against what state Attorney General Letitia James calls an anti-abortion extremist group.

AG James announced Thursday that she's taking action against Red Rose Rescue. The lawsuit comes after she said that group interfered with abortion clinics Long island and in Westchester. The attorney general's office describes Red Rose Rescue as a radical anti-abortion group.

AG James hopes to stop members of that group from coming within 30 feet of any reproductive health facility across the whole state.

They say their members trespass into private medical facilities and refuse to leave until they are taken out by police.
