Three mayors representing three major cities met Wednesday with one goal in mind — solving the migrant crisis.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, and the mayors of Denver and Chicago came together to echo a message of needing more federal support to deal with the influx of migrants.

Adams issued an executive order requiring charter bus companies to coordinate migrant arrivals. The move came after more than 7,000 people went through the city’s intake system in the last two weeks alone.

The coalition of mayors says that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been sending “rogue” buses to their cities filled with asylum seekers, often with no notice.

City officials say that just last week, 14 “rogue” buses arrived from Texas in a single night, the highest one-day total recorded since the migrant influx began last spring.
