When you cast your vote in Tuesday's election, don't forget the back of the ballot. Behind the candidates are four proposals that voters get to decide on.
The first option is the only one with statewide implications deciding whether to fund more than $4 billion worth of environmental projects across New York to combat climate change.
The other three are city-specific put forth by former Mayor Bill de Blasio's Racial Justice Commission including adding a " Statement of Values" to the city's charter and establishing a new Racial Equity Office.
The last proposal seeks to track the true cost of living in the city.
Polls are open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
