New York Public Schools are calling on all cooks to join the staff in their school cafeterias.

Currently, there are full-time, part-time and supervisory roles available for the upcoming school year.

Open roles include school lunch helpers, food and nutrition service managers and food and nutrition services cooks.

Employees who work more than 20 hours a week can take advantage of a health insurance plan. The salaries of these positions range from $46,000 to $67,000 a year.
