New York City’s annual Summer Rising program began anew on Wednesday.
The free program is designed to spark curiosity, development and the joy of learning for thousands of public-school students across the city.
Summer Rising runs from July 5 to Aug. 18 for children in K through fifth grade and Aug. 11 for middle school students.
