Police say the 15-year-old girl accused of stabbing a 17-year-old girl to death appeared in court Monday.

The Bronx district attorney says the 15-year-old girl will be seen by a judge in youth court. She's facing multiple charges including murder for allegedly stabbing and killing 17-year-old Emery Mizell last Thursday.

Police say the incident stemmed from ongoing drama between the teen girls that had been happening for weeks followed by a fight outside of an apartment building on Boynton Avenue.

Neighbors tells News 12 they were both students at the same high school.
