NYPD: 2 men arrested in connection to string of gunpoint robberies

The NYPD says two men have been arrested for robbing at least 12 New Yorkers at gunpoint in at least seven incidents across Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The NYPD says two men have been arrested for robbing at least 12 New Yorkers at gunpoint in at least seven incidents across Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan.  
All of these robberies occurred between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Wednesday. Alvin Valez, 34, and 24-year-old Carlos Perez were arrested by police in a stolen minivan, and both have been charged with robbery.  
Police recovered property from two of the incidents including a black firearm from the stolen minivan.
