The NYPD says they arrested a 20-year-old man after he was found with a loaded semi-automatic firearm in the Kingsbridge subway station.
Police say they tried to stop Abraham Sosa for trespassing, when they asked him for identification, he refused and got into a struggle with officers.
That's when officers say a loaded and defaced Palmetto State Armory PA-15 firearm fell out of Sosa's backpack.
Another man, Christopher Mayren, attempted to interfere with the arrest according to police. They say Mayren kicked an officer's body-worn camera onto the subway track.
Both men were taken into police custody and face several charges. Two officers were also injured, police say.
