Police say four people were shot in Cypress Hills overnight.

It happened near Atlantic Avenue and Williams Avenue just after 2:30 a.m.

Police say four men were shot. When police arrived on scene they say they found two of them with gunshot wounds.

News 12 is told two other men had already gone to the hospital via private means.

Investigators say it appears the shooter or shooters were in a vehicle when they opened fire, but police could not give News 12 any kind of description of the vehicle.

All four victims are expected to survive.

Across the city the NYPD tells News 12 they responded to 12 shootings Friday, 20 shootings Saturday and seven on Sunday with a total of 51 people shot and six of them killed.
