A 41-year-old man is facing charges for shooting a man on Surf Avenue in Coney Island last month.

Police say the 43-year-old victim got into an argument with the suspect on Dec. 17. The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot him in the stomach.

The victim is recovering, according to authorities.

Police say the suspect has been charged with attempted assault and three counts of possessing a weapon.
