NYPD: 83-year-old man fatally stabbed, woman slashed in Boerum Hill; man wanted for questioning

Police say an 83-year-old man was killed and a 31-year-old woman was injured in separate stabbings Saturday in Boerum Hill.
No arrests had been made as of Saturday night.
Officers closed off the entrance of Wyckoff Gardens, close to where the two victims were approached.
The man had stab wounds on his neck and right arm and was pronounced dead at the scene. An hour earlier, the woman was slashed on her right thigh. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Dozens of police officers were on the scene Saturday evening, canvassing the area and taking witness statements.
Police are calling the incident a homicide.
The NYPD also released several photos of a man they want to question.
NYPD detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
