Police say a second victim died from Thursday morning's fatal shooting in Bed-Stuy that may have been the result of a love triangle.
Police have identified the victim as 38-year-old Jasmin Figueroa. According to neighbors, she was at the center of that love triangle having been involved with both the gunman and the other victim.
Authorities say Figueroa was shot in the head early Thursday morning outside of a home on Greene Avenue by a 50-year-old man. Neighbors say she had previously been engaged to him. That gunman also shot a 44-year-old man in the leg and stomach who neighbors say Figueroa was recently involved with.
After shooting the two, police say the ex-fiancé turned the gun on himself and took his own life. When police arrived, they said they found a handgun lying next to the shooter in the street.
Figueroa was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but died Thursday night. The other victim survived.
An investigation is still underway.
