The NYPD says 15 gang members were identified in this case, 10 of which are in custody. They say there is a crossover between two defendants and the Junior case, but that there are no new suspects in connection to the attack of a teen on the Bronx River.
The NYPD said the acts of violence happened in the Bronx and Manhattan. Weapons and gang paraphernalia were recovered.
The NYPD says it is looking for the remaining five suspects identified as part of the investigation.
Police say the suspects are believed to be a part of the Los Sures set of Trinitarios. Police say this is the same set responsible for the murder of Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz.
The suspects are facing conspiracy, attempted murder and gang assault 1 charges.
The news comes just two days before five men convicted of Junior's murder are scheduled to be sentenced in Bronx Supreme Court.
