NYPD: Jeep crashes into school bus in the Bronx; several injured

According to the NYPD, a Jeep crashed into the side of a school bus leaving a 70-year-old woman in critical condition.

Police say multiple children were injured and a two seniors are in critical condition after an accident between a school bus and another vehicle Monday in the Bronx.
According to the NYPD, a Jeep crashed into the side of a school bus Monday afternoon. Authorities say an 80-year-old man was the driver of the Jeep and he was having some kind of medical episode when he lost control of the wheel. A 70-year-old female passenger and the driver are in critical condition. A third person was sitting in the back seat of the Jeep but is expected to be OK.
The bus was heading westbound on Einstein Loop, attempting to make a left-hand turn onto the Hutchinson River Parkway when the Jeep crashed into the side of it.
There were six passengers on the bus: three students and three adults including a 72-year-old bus driver. Police say they were taken to the hospital. Three children are being treated for minor injuries.
