The NYPD has made an arrest in the death of 19-year-old Deandre Matthews that took place three months ago.

Police say that two Brooklyn men, 19-year-old Isiah Baez and 24-year-old Remy McPrecia , are now in custody and were seen getting walked out of the 70th Precinct by law enforcement on Thursday. Matthews was found burned with a gunshot to his head on the freight train tracks in Flatbush in February.

Baez has been charged by the NYPD with murder, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence. McPrecia, who police say was also involved, was charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence.

News 12 spoke with the grief-stricken Matthews family in February, who noticed their loved one was missing back in Feb. 7 before learning from the police days later their loved one was dead.
