The NYPD is looking for a man who punched a 17-year-old girl while on the J train on Saturday, knocking her to the ground and leaving her with swelling to the face.
Sources tell News 12 the teen was filming TikToks with a friend, and the man told them to stop. They got into a confrontation and the man punched the teen in the face.
Police say the suspect is between 30 and 40 years old, with a medium build. He is said to have brown eyes, black hair in an afro and was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
The teen refused medical attention on scene and is expected to be OK.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers tip lines at 1-800-577-TIPS.
