A man is under arrest and a 14-year-old girl is safe after she was abducted Saturday afternoon into a vehicle in East New York, the NYPD says.

It happened at Linden Boulevard and Hendrix Street in the confines of the 75th Precinct around 1:55 p.m.

The vehicle was later found at 162 Herzel St.

According to police, the 31-year-old man and the 14-year-old girl knew each other. They say the abduction stemmed from a domestic incident.

Details surrounding the incident are scarce. Police have not released the names of those involved.
