Police say a man was nearly stabbed to death Tuesday morning in Castle Hill.
According to investigators, the 27-year-old male victim was brutally attacked outside of the Castle Hill Houses at 2275 Randall Ave. Police found him at around 7:30 a.m. with stab wounds to the torso along with a trail of blood that was covering a car left in the street.
He was rushed to NYC Heath + Hospitals/Jacobi and is in critical condition.
Police say the suspect may have used a car to flee the scene and is now on the loose.
“Back in the day we used to fight one and one,” one neighbor in the area said. “Now days, these thugs just come and stab you or they shoot you. It’s crazy out here.”
Police say they have yet to determine a motive or make any arrests in this case.
