NYPD: Multiple violent incidents overnight in the Bronx, including fatal stabbing

Police say the suspect took off in a black BMW with New Jersey plates.

The NYPD responded to multiple crimes overnight in the Bronx, including one that left a man dead.
Police say a man was dropped off at BronxCare Health System around 2 a.m. after being stabbed in the torso. He later died of his injuries.
News 12 was told the people who dropped the man off did not stay at the hospital and there is no information yet on any suspects.
Officials say at least 12 shots were fired on Schieffelin Avenue just after midnight, and a 24-year-old man was struck in the chest. He is expected to be OK.
Police say a suspect drove off in a black BMW with New Jersey plates.
The NYPD says a 32-year-old woman was shot in the leg a few blocks from Fordham University after 3 a.m. A male suspect is wanted in that incident.
