NYPD officer struck by car in Brooklyn during traffic stop

An NYPD officer was struck by a car while attempting to stop a car on Eastern Parkway Wednesday night.

An NYPD officer was struck by a car while attempting to stop a car on Eastern Parkway Wednesday night.
Police say officers attempted to stop the driver of a black Acura MDX around 10:45 p.m. They say the driver reversed and hit one of the officers.
Police say the other officer discharged his weapon before the car fled the scene.
News 12 is told the officer hit by the car suffered chest and stomach pains.
Police are still looking for the car, which they say was stolen.
