Police say a man is now facing charges in connection to a Sunday crash that killed another man in Parkchester.

Police say a man is now facing charges in connection to a Sunday crash that killed another man in Parkchester.

According to the NYPD, 22-year-old Wilbert de Jesus was walking into the Archer Street and White Plains Road intersection when a car ran into him. Shortly after, he was hit again by an SUV. Authorities say De Jesus lost his life blocks from his home in Parkchester.

One of the drivers, 25-year-old driver Adam Vilajeti, is now facing charges of driving while intoxicated in connection to the crash.

The other driver of the car remained at the scene.
